This pairing has roots in the ancient Greek world. Both malachite and lapis lazuli reached the Mycenaean centres through ancient trade networks and were used to create sealstones and colourful necklaces. Our design draws inspiration from that heritage, reimagining treasured materials through a modern, sculptural silhouette.

For House of Ancients, this combination becomes a tribute to Gaia, the Greek personification of Earth, and Athena, goddess of wisdom and craftsmanship. Malachite’s green recalls Gaia’s living landscapes, while lapis brings a celestial note to our interpretation of Athena’s creative spirit.
